The 6040 is rich with features such as automatic NTSC/PAL detect and configuration, 7.5 IRE pedestal control, colour or monochrome select, VBI Blanking (on/off) and colour bar generator.
It is simple to use and is designed to default to auto-detect and display colour NTSC/PAL analog composite video, once a 4:2:2 serial digital video source is supplied. An externally accessible dip switch adds flexibility for non-standard configurations.

The 6081 is a compact, full featured, high quality analog to 10-bit serial digital converter. The 6081 accepts NTSC, PAL and SECAM composite analog input signals and outputs SMPTE 259M-C 4:2:2 270-Mbit SDI with EDH.
The video input is buffered and has user adjustable input gain with user configurable 75 ohm (on/off) termination. A 4 or 3 line comb or notch filter is externally selectable for Y/C separation in composite mode. Video input is 2X (8:4:4) over-sampled.
The 6081 incorporates a digital output de-jitter filter (VCXO) which reduces the 270-Mbit jitter down to 2Hz. Additional user controls, AGC, Blanking, Colour Bar test pattern, De-jitter filter and V-Bit location (SMPTE vs. ITU).

The Cobalt Digital 5015 is a high performance Dual 4:2:2 Serial Digital Video to Analog Composite and re-clocked SDI converter card that is compatible with Industry
Standard Digital frames. The end user can select analog or digital output configuration as need for a given application. The 5015 has two, A and B SDI encoders. The A encoder has four outputs of which two are fixed analog composite and two can be configured as SDI or analog composite. The B encoder has three outputs. One is fixed analog and the other two can be configured as re-clocked SDI or analog composite video.
Output gain control for analog composite is adjustable from the card edge as well as configuration switches for both converters. Gain level can be set +/- 10 IRE. Configuration settings are Setup On/Off, Colour Bars On/Off (Colour Bar mode requires an active SDI input to be present to clock the output composite encoder), Colour
