SouthernOceanLures are a hand made skirted lure designed to run in the Southern Ocean and catch Bluefin Tuna.
The 'Spartan' is an 8 inch pusher suited for rigger and corner positions. Custom made with Southern ocean conditions in mind, the Spartan holds firm in rough seas and can be trolled from 5 to 15 knots.
SPARTAN GLOW
The 'Spartan' GLOW has a Lumo skirt and luminance head, making it perfect for chasing tuna at night, or even Broadbill, down-rigged deep. The 'Spartan' Glow also works very well during sunny days.

SNIPER
The 'Sniper' is a smaller 6 inch cone pusher with 2 jet holes, suited for rigger and shotgun positions. A proven tuna slayer, the 'Sniper' has frequently caught multiple fish on trips.
The first day we ran the 'Sniper' was in long rigger off Portland, with all other positions filled with well known lures which regularly catch us tuna. I was very happy when the first four fish of the day were landed with the 'Sniper'. We ended up with eight tuna, five of which were on the 'Sniper".

Designed once again for the Southern ocean, the Brute Squad holds well in any conditions.
With a combination of Splash, Flash and Rattle above and below the water line, the Brute Squad is a perfect attractor for both Tuna and Kingfish.
The design and weight of this teaser, with four large jet holes, ensures it holds position in any spread. Included feature is, it floats at rest, making for easy retrieval after a hook up.
